Workplace Health And Safety

These series of half day workshops are designed for Directors, Senior / Middle / Frontline Managers and Supervisors. They are designed to update, increase understanding and assist participants (in a practical way) in meeting obligations. If a participant attends each one they will obtain an extensive knowledge of the legislative requirements. Each course is designed as a stand alone but are linked. They are designed to assist employers meet their primary obligation of ensuring health & safety through risk management and the provision of safe systems of work; safe work environment, plant; information, training and supervision to ensure safety. Each course will have a simple assessment and practical activity.

Workplace Health & Safety Representative: 1 Day Duration Fee: $700.00 + 10% GST

This will look at employer's obligations, the representatives roles and entitlements and how to make effective use of representatives. We will include inspections and how to carry out and how to carry out investigations. We also cover the key requirements of legislation. This course is designed for any one elected as a WHS Representative. Managers / Supervisors can also attend. Each participant will receive: Seton Go Safe Booklet - Investigation, extensive workbook. We would encourage each participant to bring a copy of their organisations procedure relating to role / responsibilities of WHS Representative.

This is not the mandated training an elected WHS Representative has to undertake. The compulsory course is a five (5) day course that is Nationally recognised. We can deliver this under license of another RTO that is accredited to deliver the course.
